Visitor subclass 600
The Visitor Visa Application allows holders to visit Australia for three, six or twelve months.
There are five streams of the subclass 600 visa, including:
- Tourist Stream
- Business Visitor Stream
- Sponsored Family Stream
- Approved Destination Stream
- Frequent Traveller Stream.
Unlike other visas, family members cannot be included on one applications. Family members who wish to travel to Australia will be required to lodge a separate visa application.

You must have, or have access to, enough money to support yourself while you are in Australia

About this Process
All applicants are required to complete a Visitor Visa Application form and meet the common criteria.
If applicable, the applicant must be able to:
- demonstrate that they have complied with any previous visa conditions
- have adequate means to support themselves while in Australia
- satisfies all public interest criteria including character and medical assessment
- hold 12 months health insurance cover.
